BPW Ammohostos promotes female entrepreneurship and professional empowerment, addressing the unique challenges arising from the continued occupation of our city. Our actions focus on providing guidance for government programs, support schemes, and funding opportunities, actively empowering the women of occupied Ammohostos. Our vision is sustainable and equitable development, where the women of our district play a leading role in the economic and social progress of our homeland.

Eleni Markatzi Williams
She is originally from occupied Assia, Famagusta. She worked at Cyprus Central Bank (1985-2020) and owned a restaurant (1988-2003). Since 2024 she has been the President of BPW Famagusta. She is a member of the Assia Community Council. She is married and the mother of two daughters.
