Membership
Women entrepreneurs, professionals, permanent residents of Cyprus, over 18 years of age, who accept the purposes of the BPW Cyprus (and of local BPW Cyprus Chapters) to which they belong, have the right to participate. At least 75% of the Members must be actively employed in businesses and professions, with no restriction on the type of profession. The Members are selected in accordance with the regulations of each BPW Cyprus local Chapter to which the Members belong and of BPW Cyprus.
Members aged up to 35 years and below will be recognized as "Young BPW" and will have a representative on the Executive Committee of BPW Cyprus which will be elected as provided for in the BPW Cyprus Articles of Association.
The obligations and rights of each Member are expressly stated in the Articles of Association of each local BPW to which the Members belong and in the Articles of Association of BPW Cyprus where explicit reference is made to the registration and deletion of members.
Registration fee and the annual subscription of the Members, include the annual subscription for each Member paid each year by BPW Cyprus to the International Federation of Business and Professional Women for each Member, and a portion of the expenses incurred for the achievement of the goals of each Association to which each Member belongs.
Τhe annual STANDARD membership fee is 35 euros, plus 10 euros on your first registration. You will be notified by email for your annual membership renewal. In case you no longer wish to be a member of BPW Cyprus, please contact us at to suspend your membership.
The registration of each member and the disclosure of their details to the registry of The Organization is expressly their consent for the collection and processing of these data by The Organization and/ for the purpose of registering with it. This data management will be carried out within the legal framework and under the guarantees set by Law 138(I)/2001, as specified and supplemented by decisions and Community directives. You can ask to have your details deleted at any time. Your information will NOT be shared with any other party.
Refund/Cancellation policy: There is no refund of subscription following either cancellation or withdrawal of membership.
By registering as a Member and filling in your details regarding your email address and/or your mobile phone and giving your relevant written consent as stated in the Member Registration Application, you accept that you wish to receive messages, updates (including newsletters), forms, information and any notices from the local Chapter you belong to, as well as from BPW Cyprus. If you do not want to receive anything, you should not give your consent as stated above when registering as a Member.
